Dedicated to the memory of Di

Diane was a beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister and friend. She was magic, bringing her fun, laughter and kindness into all of the lives of those lucky enough to know her. She lived a life full of colour, and always inspired those around her to strive for greatness, step out of their comfort zone and make the leap.

Diane had a wonderful life, one that she worked incredibly hard to achieve - she travelled the world, raised a family whilst simultaneously setting up a successful business and gaining her degree, and she couldnt have done all of this if it wasnt for the very special loved ones in her life - Geoff, Allan, Muriel, Rene & Bert and her incredibly close friends who supported her dreams, and came along for the ride with her.

We are so devastated as a family to have lost our sun, because thats what she was - a provider of warmth, a giver of life, an untouchable and unstoppable force of nature who lit up any room she stepped into.

As a mum, she was always patient, creative, resourceful, kind and an incredible cook! It may sound silly - but  she enjoyed being a mum, making memories with us and her very best days were  always those when she was hosting and surrounded by her family.

As a wife, she was dedicated, loyal, loving, amusing and always ensured that her family was taken care of. She was always up for an adventure and Geoff and Di had many of those both at sea in their younger years and cruising in more recent times - however, they were both renowned for a holiday diaster - covid cruise, typhoons, repatriation flights, tornado warnings… there was never really a dull moment when travelling with them both.

As a nanny, she would spoil all of the children, there were always sweeties and treats, thoughtful presents, her face lighting up when she saw them or photos of them. She loved to read to them and cook their favourite foods.

We hope you can join us on Saturday 27th July @ 10.15 at Nuneaton Crematorium to celebrate Di’s remarkable life.
